Smarter-builder is an assessment resource used by the construction industry in its response to the Industry / Government requirement for its workforce to prove its competence.
Smarter-builder are a CITB/City & Guilds approved assessment organisation with a team of qualified and occupationally competent assessors working to a common and time efficient methodology that identifies, records and progresses experienced construction workers who have not achieved a nationally recognised qualification to CSCS card attainment with the additional achievement of a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ).
Smarter builder took part in an Adult Learning Inspectorate Review visit and the resultant report identified; very thorough induction, assessment and internal verification, good portfolios, excellent support for employers, few early leavers, high rate of achievers, clear business direction and highly effective management.
